Eco-Friendly Policy
As a Hotel that is continously innovating ahead of others within Bromley, an example being that we’ve provided free internet access to all our Hotel rooms since 2001, and all rooms have had an LCD Digital/Freeview television for over two years.
Thinking ahead is what we like to do, so considering environmental sustainability is naturally the next stage in the day to day running of our Hotels. We have taken action to reduce our carbon count and take pride in doing so.
The Glendevon House Hotel is taking green action by:
- Using Solar Power, to assist our hot water system.
- Using Eco-Friendly detergents and other environmentally friendly cleaning products.
- Recycling waster paper, daily newspapers and packaging.
- Keeping Track of our electricity usage by utilising wireless electricity monitors. This has identified practical ways to reduce our carbon offset, such as using energy saving bulbs in corridors & switching off unnecessary lights.
- Providing all rooms with LCD televisions, which consume less electricity than conventional television sets.
- Purchasing recycled paper & favouring suppliers with green policies.
